Winter Wedding Treviso

When the weather outside is frightful… There’s one more reason to cuddle! 😀
I loved Francesca and Antonio’s Winter Wedding. It’s not easy to organize a proper winter wedding, not just a wedding in heavy clothes… And this couple from Treviso totally nailed it!
In their wedding, one could really feel the atmosphere of December: Christmas about to come, the fireplace, even some mulled wine as an aperitif!
Here’s the winter magic of Francesca and Antonio’s wedding. 🙂

As I said before, planning a real winter wedding is not easy. The risk is to make it feel like a wedding in heavy clothes – there’s nothing wrong about it, of course, but I love personalized weddings 😀
My day with Antonio and Francesca began at Antonio’s family home, where he got ready with his mom and sister.
Then we went to Francesca’s. She was super excited, and she got ready for her sister. Her room as a teenager was all prepared for the occasion: wooden hearts, flowers, and her beautiful wedding dress waiting to be worn!
The emotion was in the air, and it was a really special moment.
The ceremony took place in the Church of Crespano del Grappa, near Francesca’s house. The priest had a very peculiar sermon – he even used a stethoscope! Francesca is a doctor, and the priest’s sermon was about the importance of listening to the heart, both your own and your partner’s.
After this lovely ceremony, we moved to the amazing Canovian Temple in Possagno for some couple photos at sunset. The atmosphere was really incredible, and that church simply cannot be described by words.
Then we went to the reception’s venue, the amazing Castello Superiore di Marostica, just perfect for a winter wedding!
A mulled wine aperitif was waiting for us – we couldn’t wish for anything better as it was quite cold outside!
As they got there, Francesca and Antonio had their first dance next to the fireplace on the notes of The Power of Love live sung by an amazing piano-voice duet.
Then, the dinner started with a whole winter menu – just perfect!
Cutting the cake was something magical, and it was done on the Terrace of the Castle. As a surprise for the spouses, the Restaurant organized a series of light fountains that started just after the toast – it left us all breathless!
I was really impressed by the perfect organization of the Castle, the result was really brilliant.
After having cut the cake, the newlyweds and their guests danced and had a party next to the Christmas tree, a perfect conclusion to a unique wedding.
