Art, music, theatre, poetry, nature. A wedding celebrated inside a Liberty-style theatre. A couple so in love. Many friends ready to party!
What can be better for a wedding? 😀
Angelica and Ivan knew they wouldn’t have made conventional choices for their wedding, and so it was. It was the first time the Theatre of Thiene, built in the late nineteenth century in the liberty style, was the location for a wedding ceremony.
An amazing symbolic ceremony, celebrated by a friend of the couple and full of lyrics read, acted and even played by Angelica’s friends and Ivan’s brothers.
The wedding colors were yellow (of the sunflowers and of Ivan’s brother’s car who accompanied Angelica to the theatre) and blue. Those were also the colors the couple used to paint a painting during a lovely ritual – with Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors as a soundtrack!
Music was another great theme of the wedding. Ivan is a drummer, and his brothers play as well; they dedicated the newlyweds a roll-guitar-voice version of Ring and Fire, played on stage.
After the wedding, we moved to Agriturismo El Gran where the reception took place. The theme was perfectly displayed there, too: sunflowers, vinyl disks, and musical note-shaped confetti made the wedding hall magic!
We shot some couple photos inside the theatre and some of them in a tiny road behind the restaurant, made super romantic by the sunset light.
After dinner, Ivan and his band ( the Raffaello Seltz ) played some of their songs, followed by a DJ who played the 70s, 80s and 90s music to get the party started!
A really unique wedding, emotional and super peculiar for such a special couple.
Under the image selection, you will find the list of all the vendors involved and the wedding slideshow – with an acoustic version of Ring of Fire, of course!
