The Tuscan countryside is something that captures your heart forever.

And in the middle of those natural heaven lies the small town of Pari, between Siena and Grosseto – an ancient medieval town, all built with light brown bricks, a place where the time seems to have frozen.

There, after a few miles drive into the hills full of trees and nature, one can find a precious little country house, called Il Casalino.

What could have been a better location for a Tuscan destination wedding?

A beautiful love story in a stunning location – a story I was so honored to tell!

I’ve known the groom, Giulio, for quite some time now.

We met through photography, and I was honored to be chosen to be their wedding photographer in Tuscany!

Together with his – now wife – Giulia, they decided to plan their destination wedding in Tuscany.

With the help of the wedding planning team of Arabesque, they made their wedding dream come true!

Il Casalino was a perfect location for such a wedding: a stunning country house in the middle of the Tuscan hills, owned by one of Giulio’s best friends – a new home away from home.

All the details of this wedding were flawlessly planned – it had to be a party, a celebration, a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

Giulio and Giulia got married in the tiny church of Pari, a small town in the countryside between Siena and Grosseto, by a long-time friend of the bride.

The wedding ceremony was intimate, romantic, wistful and yet so funny!

After the wedding, as the guests went back to the Casalino for the aperitif, I had a wedding couple portrait session with the newlyweds in the tiny and typical streets of Pari. Medieval towns such as Pari are just stunning for couple shootings. All the walls of the houses had the same color, and the light brown of the bricks looked stunning among the green of the nature surrounding it.

And the wind! There’s nothing more romantic than a good wind blow to make the portrait session even more perfect.

Back at the Casalino, the newlyweds prepared a full-Tuscan buffet dinner, cheered by music, laughter, and some super cool red smoke bombs!

A great wedding, an amazing start of this 2019 wedding season.
