Wedding Anniversary New York – Couple Photographer New York
More Weddings & Couple Shootings Around the World:
Do I really need to say how much I love this shooting? 😀
Even though this one was not my first shooting abroad (on early March I was in Spain for another couple photo session), Magda and Giovanni’s anniversary shooting was my first overseas one. And what a better location to start my American adventures than New York?
Their shooting was super special for other reasons, too. Magda and Giovanni were the first couple who chose me as “being me” to be their wedding photographer, back in 2013.
The couple has lived in New York since 2012, and they first got married there in a civil ceremony that year. Moreover, Magda and Giovanni have been together for ten years – what a better choice to celebrate this double anniversary? 😀
To me, this shooting was turning back to where it all began… But on the other side of the world! Enjoy 🙂
Magda and Giovanni have lived in New York since 2012 when he moved to the States to open a branch of Punto Ottico – Humaneyes close to Central Park.
Magda followed him for love, and they got married a few months after in a civil ceremony there in which the only guests – and witnesses – where the couple’s mothers!
A few months later, in July 2013, they got married in a Catholic ceremony in Italy and I was their wedding photographer. Moreover, Magda and Giovanni’s wedding was also the first one Alba has ever filmed. I was not joking when I said that this is where it all begun!
We have always kept in touch even when the years went by, and we decided to make something special for their fifth wedding anniversary and tenth anniversary as a couple.
Magda and Giovanni brought us to know the city intimately and walked us to their most loved spots.
We split the shooting into two sessions, a morning one in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and an afternoon-evening one between Long Island City and Times Square.
We had a more fashion shooting in Williamsburg, as it’s the hippest area of the city, full of vintage shops, pub, and murals. We did our best to transmit the real Brooklyn feels!
Magda and Giovanni’s first American house was in Long Island City, and we decided to remember those lovely memories in a romantic sunset date, in elegant clothes to have a more intimate and sweet couple photo session.
Ultimately we went to the chaotic, unforgettable Times Square for some night shots – we couldn’t end our American shooting any better!
Hundred of days like this! 🙂
