More Weddings & Couple Shootings in Vicenza:
Last Monday, on Easter Monday I had the pleasure and honor to shoot at Marta and Mirko’s wedding, and at the baptism of their baby girl Azzurra.
A romantic, easy and spontaneous wedding in a beautiful location: the church of Monticello di Lonigo, where the couple lives. There’s such a breath-taking view from its terrace….
Here are some photos of their wedding service: at the bottom of the page you will also find the slideshow and the tale of this unique wedding!
This wedding was also published by Wedding Wonderland, the most famous Italian wedding blog, in an article called “Un Matrimonio Vintage Ispirato alla Primavera“.

Marta and Mirko are a young couple from Lonigo, a town between Vicenza and Verona. They decided to organize a simple, spontaneous wedding and a great party where everyone – me included – had a great fun!
Personally, I really appreciated the organization of this wedding; the ceremony was lead in the church of Monticello di Lonigo and the reception in the halls of the Oratory in front of it.
A great catering prepared the wedding lunch in a buffet style; there was no tableau de mariage, but large tables where everyone could sit in an informal, fresh and fun atmosphere.
The reception was basically halfway between a wedding and an Easter Monday party: the best idea, considering the date!
To make this wedding even more unique, Marta and Mirko decided not to cut a wedding cake but to break chocolate wedding Easter eggs!
There were three decorated chocolate eggs, one for each member of this young family: a small, milk chocolate one with a pacifier for Azzurra, a truffle one with a white bow for Marta and a dark chocolate one with a hat and a bowtie for Mirko. Marta, Mirko, and baby Azzurra broke them with a special silver hammer prepared for the occasion!
Except for some rain, the weather was luckily good for the whole day and we had the chance to spend a lot of time in the amazing terrace next to the Church, probably the best area of this special location.
The countryside is perfect to plan a Wedding in Veneto, and I am starting to shoot at different weddings in such amazing locations: trees full of flowers, bright colors and a lovely light.
The sunset from the terrace, then, is absolutely amazing: see it to believe it!
