Boho Wedding in Asolo, Treviso – A Civil Wedding in Asolo

I totally loved shooting this wedding!

Giulia and Alessandro are a beautiful couple from Treviso, Italy. They don’t live in Treviso anymore, so they decided to come back and have a gorgeous wedding and party there!

Friends from all over the world joined them – the afterparty was held at the groom’s grandmother’s house, and the couple spent their free weekends over the past year restoring it.

A great day and a great party – enjoy!

Giulia and Alessandro planned the perfect Boho Wedding in Italy.

The Veneto countryside is perfect for this style of wedding: full green forests, amazing sceneries on the hills and – obviously- great food!

Our day together started where it would have ended, at Alessandro’s grandmother’s former house.

The couple renovated in completely in the past few months, and made it the perfect party location!

He got ready there together with his family and friends coming from all over the world – some of them declined the offer of a hotel and decided to camp in the backyard instead!

Then we went to Giulia’s, who was getting ready in a beautiful suite inside the Albergo al Sole, just a few minutes walk from the ceremony location.

There she gave a gift to her mother and the bridesmaids, and all of them wrote her an emotional letter – such a lovely and sweet moment!

Out of the hotel, Giulia and Alessandro had their first look. The emotion in their eyes filled the whole square as they walked together towards the Cityhall of Asolo.

The civil ceremony was held by a friend of the couple and by Alessandro’s sister  – lots of laughs and happy tears brought together by a gorgeous arch quartet.

After having read their vows and exchanged rings, the couple walked out of the Cityhall as husband and wife.

We had the first part of the wedding couple portrait shoot in Asolo: that town is just lovely, full of amazing sceneries. Asolo is a part of the I Borghi Più Belli d’Italia club – an association joining all the best typical Italian towns. And for a reason!

After shooting there, we moved closer to the wedding reception location and shot some couple photos in the woods there.

Then we reached the restaurant the couple chose for their wedding reception: the beautiful Bosco del Falco, in the middle of the forest, with a stunning view of the valley.

Absolutely the perfect location for a Boho Wedding in Italy!

There they had their wedding dinner and cut the cake. surrounded by light strings – love that!

After that, we moved back to where we started and had a gorgeous afterparty – drinks, music, fun and all their friends around!
